A Trip to the Ark

Before the Christmas holidays we took a trip to the Ark in Temple Bar to see A Christmas Carol.
We really enjoyed the trip and were very impressed by the actors performance.

Winter Trees

We were inspired by the birch tree for our Winter art.
We used masking tape to create the shape of the birch tree.
We then painted over the tape with pink and purple water colours.
While the paint was still wet we sprinkled some salt to give the picture more texture.
When it dried we peeled away the tape and used black crayon to fill in the details of the tree.
We really enjoyed the proccess.
