The Skeleton

This month we have being learning all about out skeleton. We can name the bones in the body and we know where they are located.

 Here we are labelling the bones of the skeleton.

We also made life sized skeletons by drawing the outline of members of the class. We really enjoyed this activity.

Halloween Pumpkins

Halloween Pumpkins

Last Friday we designed our own pumpkins using coloured paper. Firstly we drew our ideas before cutting out our creations.
We love that everybody was given the same materials but yet they all turned out differently.
                         HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Our Locality

Over the last few weeks we have been learning about our locality in Geography. We researched information about Clondalkin and become more aware of the buildings and environment in which we live. We also went on walk around Clondalkin village to investigate what street furniture can be seen in our locality.

Sports Day

Unfortunately due to bad weather in June, we couldn't go ahead with sports day.

We decided to start the year with fun and excitement by having sports day in September.

We had such a fun day and really enjoyed taking part in the different activities.
